Water Stories
The money raised will be used to support UNICEF’s clean water programs. UNICEF works in more than 90 countries around the world to improve access to safe water and sanitation facilities in schools and communities, and to promote safe hygiene practices. Funds collected will be allocated to the countries and areas most in need. Last year, over 300 hundred restaurants and thousands of customers supported the New York City effort that raised more than $100,000 to provide four million children with safe and clean water. Already, the Tap Project has benefited countries such as Laos, Iraq and Angola. Please read the stories below to see how UNICEF has helped children in need of access to clean water and sanitation, and how your support can make a difference through the Tap Project.
