What role do the servers have to play?

Your wait staff plays a critical role in driving the success of the Tap Project. Ideally, the Customer Donation Cards will be displayed on the table, attached to the menu or presented with the bill—or Table Tents will be on the tables (if you opted to receive Table Tents rather than Customer Donation Cards).

Servers should call attention to the Customer Donation Card or Table Tents and invite patrons to make a difference through a donation. If you would like, you can also implement an incentive program to acknowledge top-performing server(s)—utilizing Tap Project T-shirts (if you opted for Gold or Platinum levels of participation) or other prizing of your own.

In your Restaurant Activation Kit, you will find Server Tip Cards—pocket-sized quick reference guides that provide compelling talking points for staff to use during conversations with customers.
