Volunteers are the Heart of the Tap Project

The UNICEF Tap Project is a national movement powered by thousands of dedicated volunteers whose combined efforts have helped UNICEF save millions of young lives.

The 2010 campaign will raise awareness about the world water crisis and support for the millions of children whom the crisis impacts. By volunteering with the UNICEF Tap Project, you too can help bring clean water to children around the world!

Volunteer with the UNICEF Tap Project

There are two ways to volunteer with the Tap Project this year:

1) Recruit and support restaurants
2) Host a Tap Project event

When you register as a Tap Project Volunteer, you can choose which volunteer activity you would like to engage in—restaurant recruitment/support, event hosting or both.

Your Tap Project Volunteer Activation Kit will be tailored accordingly. For example, if you would like to host an event, your kit will provide event hosting tools. If you prefer restaurant recruitment and support your kit will include restaurant recruitment tools. If you select both—restaurant recruitment/support AND event hosting—your kit will include both sets of tools.

You also can select the “Go Green” option and forgo a kit, since ALL of the Tap Project volunteer materials will be available online in the Volunteer Center in January 2010.
